Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®
Updated: Jul 5, 2018
October is a month full of worthy causes -- Breast Cancer Awareness where we all Go PINK for a cure, and Domestic Violence Awareness where we wear PURPLE to show our support of the men and women who are victims of this
This month, on October 28th, 2017, members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Delta Lambda Zeta Chapter will participate in the annual Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®.
In the U.S., someone will develop Alzheimer's every 66 seconds, with one-third of the persons affected being women. Alzheimer's Disease is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States, and the ONLY condition listed in the top 10 that currently CANNOT be prevented, cured or slowed. This disease is relentless in it's progression, and not only affects those living with the disease, but their caregivers and loved ones alike.
Although this devastating disease is relentless in its progress -- SO ARE WE!!
We are asking that you donate to this cause, and help us in our efforts to support the Alzheimer's Association FIND A CURE! For more information, or to MAKE YOUR DONATION to help us reach our $1000 goal, click the link below:
